Construction of a new Visitor Information Centre is currently underway in Blackville. The structure is located on Main Street at the former Historic Walls House site.
The building, which was originally the Walls House back kitchen, has been repositioned on the property and now features a full basement. Located just across the train bridge from Blackville Municipal Park, the information centre will be the Trail Head for the recently installed Miramichi River Interpretive Walk.
